Trail Info
Location: 3 miles SW of Viroqua on County Road XX
Description: Sidie Hollow County Park is 521 scenic acres, including a 40-acre lake formed as part of a flood control dam. In 2006, Vernon Trails entered into a strong relationship with Vernon County Parks and immediately implemented the design and development of a shared-use, natural surface trail system. Vernon Trails has continued to improve, maintain, and add to these trails that surround the lake, trout streams, and campgrounds. Sidie Hollow’s trails are perfect for hiking, trail running, snowshoeing, nordic skiing, and mountain biking.
Trails: Currently about 10 miles of trails.
Key Features: A loop around Sidie Hollow Lake, multiple scenic overlooks, and a diverse system of trails with something for everybody – beginners to advanced trail users.
Future Goals: Signage
Park Amenities: Rustic to full hookup camping, restrooms, showers, shelters, playground, fresh water, and boat launch. More park and camping reservation info here.
