Saturday’s weather was perfect for trail building. Perfect enough to log 180 hours of volunteer trail work. 1.5 miles of new corridor was cut in and finish work started, three awesome corner reroutes completed, the lower trail head was completely opened up and mostly shaped, and plenty of maintenance done.
Eric brought his flail mower up from the deep south. He cut as much corridor in 5 hours of operation as it would have taken our crew to build in 100 hours.
Had a big crew working all day creating the new Lower Trail Head.
