First of all, we have a name! We’re thrilled to announce that our course at the Viroqua VFW will be called Veteran Hills Disc Golf Course. We had a club meeting recently and took a tour around Veteran Hills to see the holes we’ve already worked on and the rest of the course that Brandon had marked out. Even through the brown trees and deep snow, it’s easy to imagine how beautiful this course is going to be when it’s finished. Here’s a bit of a tour. VernonTrails is a proud sponsor of the Youth Nordic Ski Club. Snowflake Nordic will have their informational meeting and sign-up night on Monday December 2nd from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Westby Community Center (basement of library).  Rental equipment can be picked up at this time.
2014 fee schedule; nordic program – $35, equipment rental – $65.
Practices will be Monday afternoons from 3:45 to 5:00pm.
