The Dairy Roubaix is an unsupported, mixed terrain, bicycling event started in 2011 by Stewart Schilling and Michelle Godez.
Vernon Trails is proud to announce the partnership with this team to introduce the 2016 Dairyland Roubaix.
The event draws adventurous cyclists from Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota and Illinois. Participants ride a wide variety of bicycles ranging from cyclocross to fat bikes covering distances between 54 and 107 miles. Participants are given a map and cue sheet – the rest is up to them. Event entry is officially free, but riders are encouraged to donate to the cause.
This year’s event will run on Saturday, April 16, 2016. The event starts and finishes at the Hugh Harper Group Camp at Wyalusing State Park in Bagley, WI. The event begins Sat April 16, 2016 at 9:00 am. Camping is available Friday April 15 , and Saturday April 16, 2016.
The group camp sleeps up to 108 campers in four individual bunk houses offering heat, electricity, bathrooms and showers with hot and cold water. Those choosing to camp Friday and/or Saturday night pay $15 per evening.
